Player  Development  Program  levels  &  forms

Younger players in the PDP shooting program begin at Level 0 (couch potato) and end at Level 12 (McDonald's All American).   With practice students are usually able to pass one level per week.

PDP Shooting Level Requirements


Level 0:   Couch Potato       --  None

Level 1:   Ticket Seller         --  Know primary positions

Level 2:    Hot Dog Vendor --  Accurately perform all 1-                                                     step transitions

Level 3:    Fan                       --  Accurately perform both 2-                                                     step transitions

Level 4:   Cheerleader        --  Accurately perform tran-                                                     sition 1-4

Level 5:   Team Manager   --  Perform transition 1-                                                     2.5 and 2.5-4

Level 6:   Practice Squad   --  Perform transition 1-                                                    4 with knee bend

Level 7:   Benchwarmer     --  Shoot with rapid jumping 

Level 8:   Second Stringer  --  Free throw shooting

Level 9:   Starter                   --  Shooting with "touch"

Level 10: All-Conference    --  Move and shoot off 2 feet

Level 11: All-State                --  Move and shoot off 1 foot

Level 12: McD's All-American -  Long distance shooting
