The Colorado Method is a complete system for teaching players how to correctly shoot a basketball.
Multiple types of shots are taught to students of all ages. The primary focus is on what I call the pro jump shot, where the bottom of the ball is above the level of the eyes when the ball begins its final forward trajectory towards the target.
Other shots taught include layups, reverse layups, long distance shots, short shots (shooting with touch), floaters, put-backs, bank shots, free throws, and others.
Detailed instruction regarding footwork and balance for efficiently shooting off the pass and off the dribble is taught.
Most students have lessons weekly. The beginning portion of the program takes approximately 3 months to complete.
